On the one hand, Taiwan government is promoting “New Southbound Policy” for building a wide range of regional network and close business relationships with mainly ASEAN and South Asia countries. On the other hand, labor supply shortage resulted from low fertility rate is a pressing issue for both government and enterprises in Taiwan. Hence, Taiwan government recently enforces some initiatives to attract more foreign students and professionals to help satisfy its human resource need and also facilitate its economic development. The objective of this project therefore aims to help understand what potential employment factors will attract those “new southbound countries (NSC)” students in Taiwan to work for Taiwanese companies, either in Taiwan or in their home countries.
