This study used a practical technique report to both explore the practical operation processes for managing the grading system for the International Pickleball Tournament held on November 25, 2018 and assess the feasibility of the method used to advance contestants to the next level in the tournament. A comprehensive analysis was performed on the competition procedures. On-site operations were conducted by visiting and observing the tournament site as well as using the qualitative triangulation method, including direct observation, participant observation, and in-depth interviews. This study conducted an investigation from technical and economic perspectives under limited study resources. The grading system for a pickleball tournament comprises competition levels of 2.0, 3.0, and 4.0. Contestant ranking is based on the number of enrolled contestants. In addition, professional personnel in the competition group also provided further explanation. The objective of this tournament management system was to propose practical suggestions for tournament management in the future.
