Abstract: | The purpose of this study was to inguire into the relationships among the leisure involvement, leisure benefits and well-being from elementary school teachers’ perspective.The themes of this scale all used to do it. Research instruments included the Leisure involvement scale, leisure benefits scale, well-being scale and personal background varibles. The participants of this study were the in-service teachers in Tainan City. In addition, the questionnaire method, “leisure involvement scale”, “leisure benefits scale,” “well-being scale” as well as SPSS were applied in the research and 571 out of 600 questionnaires were valid. The recovery rate was 95.17%. The findings revealed that: 1. The Tainan City elementary school teachers’ were positive feelings of leisure involvement, leisure benefits and well-being. 2. Leisure involvement: The elementary school teachers have obvious differences in sexes, ages, positions and marriage condition. Leisure involvement: The elementary school teachers have obvious differences in sexes, years of service, marriage condition and position. Well-being: The elementary school teachers have obvious differences in sexes, education, years of service, and position. 3. The interactions of leisure involvement, leisure benefits and well-being were correlated. The heteromorphosis is between 26.6% and 38.7%.The leisure involvement, leisure benefits of the elementary school teachers could predict the well-being. |
