    Abstract: The purpose of this study was to investigate current status of park image, place attachment, satisfaction and attributes of sports park users in Shin-Yin distract, Tainan city. Therefore, to analyze the relationship among park image, place attachment, and satisfaction. This research adopted questionnaire survey as its method. The initial steps were reading and organizing literature reviews about image, place attachment, and satisfaction, and then the researcher prepared the “Questionnaire of park image, place attachment, and satisfaction about Shin-Yin Sports Park in Tainan City”. The data was obtained from 450 Shin-Yin Sports Park users in Tainan City. A total of 436 responses were received and valid. Using statistical software package SPSS to conduct descriptive statistics, factor analysis, reliability analysis, t test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffé method for post hoc multiple comparison , Pearson correlation anylysis, regression analysis and other statistical methods.
    Findings of this research were as follows. First, different attributes of the Shin-Yin Sports Park users showed significant positive correlation among park image, place attachment, satisfaction. Second, park image influenced significantly on place attachment. Third, park image influenced significantly on total satisfaction. Fourth, place attachment influenced significantly on total satisfaction. Current users had positive attitudes upon park image, place attachment, and satisfaction. And the three factors had significant effects upon each other. Finally, suggestions were made as references for the relevant government agencies for their future planning/design and management for the park. Hope this study would help eliminate vacant space and facilities, and later raise the using rate of Shin-Yin Sports Park.
