The thesis is to understand the needs status of vocational training teachers' professional Growth in NC machine and examine the differences among different background variables。This study uses the questionnaire survey procedure. The questionnaire is designed by the researcher and titled as “Vocational Training Teachers' Professional Growth Needs in NC machine Questionnaire” The research subjects are the mechanical engineering teachers of national vocational senior high school in Taichung city.
The study aims to investigate the level of recognition in NC machine professional ability and the needs for professional growth. According to the purpose and problem of this study, data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics, including frequency distribution, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and independence t-test, one way ANOVA. According to the results, conclusions and suggestions are proposed. Finally, the conclusions of this study are as followings:
1. The mechanical engineering teachers recognize the higher level of recognition in NC machine professional ability.
2. The mechanical engineering teachers have needs for NC machine professional growth and the needs for NC professional knowledge are higher than NC research ability.
3. The higher the mechanical engineering teachers’ needs for NC machine professional growth, the higher level of recognition in teaching ability of NC machine will be.
