The research aimed to discuss the cycle visitors of bike trails and to explore relationships among recreation motivation, recreation satisfaction and green environmental identification in Taichung HouFong Bikeway. In addition, the purpose of the research was to analyze the difference between those three variables in different cyclists backgrounds and also to understand the relationship among the recreation motivation, recreation satisfaction and green environmental identification. The collected samples reached 402 cyclists who are over 18 years old in Taichung HouFong Bikeway from October third to October eighteenth. The research tool is using the questionnaire method for data collection, which included three dimensions: variables of cyclists’ demographic backgrounds, the scale of recreational motivation, satisfaction and green environmental identification.Descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson’s produce-moment correlation were computed for data analysis .The results came out as followings:
(1) Most bike-trail-visitors are female and the age is from 31 to 40 years old. The college level of education gets the highest score.
(2) Age, education, occupation and marital status affect their recreational motivation, satisfaction and green environmental identification.
(3) The positive relationship exists in recreational motivation, satisfaction and green environmental identification in Hou-Fong Bikeway.
