    Title: A Study on Parental Visitors’ Attraction, Satisfaction, and Revisiting Willingness in Tainan City Park Chimei Museum Area

    Abstract: This study was distributed to parental visitors in Chimei Museum Area of Tainan City Park. The purpose of this study was to discuss attraction, satisfaction, and willingness of revisiting the park for parental visitors, based on different parental visitors’ background characteristics to find out the relationship among the attraction, satisfaction, and willingness of revisiting the park. In addition, this study has provided parental visitors’ cognition and reception of the park to the park management as reference. Convenience sampling was used in this study. The survey was taken during October and November, 2015. There were 467 (97%) returned, and the results were as following:
    1.Description of participants: The majority of the parental visitors (63%) were women. The parental visitors age raged from 30 to 39 years of age with the most frequent (59%). Over sixty percent (62%) of the parental visitors completed a bachelor’s degree. About fifty percent of parental visitors were with income between NT 30,001 and NT 70,000. More than a half (51%)of parental visitors brought one child went along with them. Among all the participants, the youngest age range of the child was under 6 years old (51%). A lot of parental visitors (61%) visited the park for the first time. Thirty-nine percent of parental visitors stayed at the park are for about two to three hours.
    2.Entirety planning design and architecture landscape with cultural effect, body and mind relaxation and life regulation, and comprehension of education function were the first three highest items in the attraction portion; the lowest ones were the workers’ service attitude and the convenience of the parking lot.
    3.The first three strongest satisfaction degree were clean and tidy environment, extensibility of knowledge and experience, and with providing plans environment were; the lowest ones were achievements for my child and I , and interests for me and my child.
    4.Attraction and satisfaction had significant relations. Attraction had positive effect for willingness of revisiting the park and so did satisfaction, which showed the more the attraction, the more satisfaction, and the more revisiting willingness.
    The results of this study had taken a step further to discover what the attraction and satisfaction were for the park. It could be expected that increased attraction and adjusted the deficiencies to provide parental visitors a joyful and comfortable recreational environment, also as references for the management.
