Abstract: This study aims to investigate the relationship between the training

provides three basic needs for people: 1. Economic needs to earn money,
    2. Social needs to develop relationship, 3. Psychological needs to build
confidence. However, the innate problems come with disabilities, such as
defects, low education level, learned helplessness, make disabilities
having challenges to acquire a job. Accordingly, understanding how to
provide an appropriate and satisfactory vocational training is a great and
practical issue. This is the motivation of this study. This study uses a
carefully designed questionnaire, “Satisfaction level of vocational
training for disabilities”, to survey 120 qualified participants. The results
are as follows: 1. In terms of the demographic data: female, high school
grades, unmarried, short-term training, ages between 25 and 34, first-time
participation in the training, 300-449hr training, mental retardation
consist of the majority of the sample. 2. In terms of demographic data and
training satisfaction: males are more satisfied than females. People who
age at 15-24 are more satisfied than age at 45-54 than 35-44. People who
age at 25-34 are more satisfied than other age groups. High school
graduates are more satisfied than other groups. 3. In terms of training
method and training satisfaction: short-term training is more satisfied.
The third training is more satisfied. Training period between 300 and 449
hours is more satisfied than 450-599 hours. 4. The obstacle level is
    V
negatively associated with training satisfaction. That is, mild mental
retard is more satisfied with the training results. 5. Demographic data and
training methods show predictive power in the training satisfaction, while
the obstacle level shows no significant influence.
