Abstract: This study aims to investigate how home visit workers cope with work fatigue and adjust accordingly, in an attempt to understand the relationship between work and leisure. The subjects of the study are home visit workers employed in Taichung City, Changhua County and Nantou County. A total of 400 questionnaires were given to participants and 376 questionnaires were returned; the recovery rate was 94%. The collected questionnaires were sorted and those with missing answers, inconsistent answers and all-the-same answers were deemed invalid. A total of 365 questionnaires were considered valid and the effective recovery rate was 91.25%. Descriptive statistical analysis, independent t test, one way ANOVA analysis, multiple regression analysis and other statistical methods were carried out in this study.
The results of the study show that home visit workers in the central region of Taiwan have varied backgrounds, and that there are significant differences in balancing work and leisure among people with different socio-economic backgrounds.
