    Abstract: The study aim to explore the impacts of Facebook upon the performance of grade points for a junior high students in Changhua county who have used Facebook for years. This investigative procedures were executed with a quasi-experimental design method accompanying questionnaire adopted in sequence, and the results are accomplished as well as drawn below through the statistical analyses of t-test, ANOVA and Pearson's chi-squared test using SPSS software in accordance with the hypotheses of the research. The number of times and duration of Facebook usage of students in each week in grade points performance appears negative correlation, and the motivation of using Facebook to build interpersonal relationship and to express emotions for different genders emerges unobvious unlikeness, while the intention for improving on knowledge acquisition and on recreations exhibits momentous dissimilarities. However, the purpose of using Facebook for the enhancement of knowledge is to have postive effects, especially, on literature performance. Finally, the common function of Facebook induces apparent effect on literature promotion in contrast to invisible influence emerged upon academic performance.
