In this Thesis, the implementation of an ECG backend information system based on IPv6 technology is proposed. The motivation of this work is due to the existing or the forthcoming problems in the real situations of the emergency medical service system of the Fire Department in Taiwan.
The proposed system mainly deals with the IP addresses burnout problem of the IPv4 networks in current internet environment. In this Thesis, we will use the IPv6 technology to construct an information system to acquire the ECG signals from the patients. Due to IPv4 networks are still the mainstream technology around the internet, we will use tunnel broker to carry the IPv6 packets pass through the IPv4 networks. Finally, a practical system is built to verify our proposed method.
