| Abstract: | This study attempts to explore people’s satisfaction about 2014 national day fireworks activity by questionnaire. Through purposive sampling, 845 valid questionnaires are collected, data analysis including narrative statistics, independent sample T test, one-way ANOVA and Scheffè post hoc comparison, etc. The results are as follows: the holding of 2014 national day fireworks activity was recognized as leisure and entertainment by common people, and the advertising and broadcasting of activity is sufficient, which ranked top two in satisfaction; while the planning of transportation still need to be improved, in addition, the clean sanitation of public toilet has obvious difference in the comparison of gender.
In the test of satisfaction about tourism development, accommodation ranks first in the satisfaction，while landscape takes second place；the average number of people is between 3.2 and 3.6, and there is obvious difference on people’s satisfaction on “government construction” and “organizing activity” by Taichung municipal administration, thus it can be learned that people’s satisfaction on tourism development is different.
To sum up, if improvement and panning can be made in transportation and sanitation of Taichung’s tourism development, the quality of people’s tourism on Taichung can be improved. While analyzing interviewee’s satisfaction on national day fireworks, it shows that they feel satisfied about the leisure and entertainment provided by national day firework, but they all feel unsatisfied about public sanitation. Thus, regarding short term activity planning, the maintenance of public sanitation is the part which is easily felt unsatisfied by tourists, and host unit should regard it as the most important part of activity. |
