Abstract: For the explosive development of mobile technologies, mobile stations have become an important role in our daily life. People can use cellular phone not only for communications including message, voice, and video, but also for trade. In this article, we aim to propose a brand-new value-added service for mobile subscribers, M-check. A subscriber can apply the new service to trade with a virtual vendor or perform some business transactions. In addition to preserving the property from physical checks, M-check provides more convenience and flexibility. A subscriber needs not to sustain the risk of physical check loss or damage, and is able to trade with others over the Internet or physical merchant. © 2009 IEEE.
