Walking and running are considered to be among the most popular and best aerobic activities. Due to the weather, environment, space and some other factors, many people choose a treadmill for indoor workout. They may not know how to achieve effective campaign while beginning to run on a treadmill. The beginning runners do not know how to set the features on the console (including incline, speed, time, distance, etc.) to get better exercise results. After running on a treadmill several times, they may feel boring or even get injured due to incorrect or too much exercise. Although some treadmills offer multiple preset workout programs, many users do not know which one is suitable for their own needs. Some experts have proposed treadmill exercise prescriptions, but they are usually rough and general-purpose, rather than tailor-made for individuals. Therefore, this study develops a method of automatically generating personal treadmill exercise prescriptions based on the expertise of athletic trainers and literature.
