    Title: A Study on Competitive Power of Business Model for Tea Production Areas in Central Taiwan

    Abstract: Tea production in central Taiwan for most of the country, not only the excellent quality of tea, tea and more kinds of characteristics, the tea industry overall marketing system is also very robust. But central Taiwan’ farmers remain alone business situation, not yet integrated into a single tea area, so unable to improve competitiveness. This paper will be divided in central Taiwan's tea production areas as "Zhushan-Lugu tea Area", "Yuchi tea area", "Bagua Mountain tea area ", "Lishan tea area", "Yushan tea area," and "Renai tea area." According to Michael Porter Diamond Model to construct central Taiwan's tea production areas in the " factor conditions ", demand conditions", "related and supporting industries", "firm strategy, structure and rivalry", "government"," chance " six dimensions of competitiveness. Finally, use " Analytic Hierarchy Process ,(AHP)" calculate the weight, and then explore the area in central Taiwan tea industry competitive business model. The results show that the competitiveness dimension weights order to " factor conditions ", " firm strategy, structure and rivalry ", " related and supporting industries ", " demand conditions ", " chance ", "government". The former five key success factors are: to have a good production environment, planning the perfect area management counseling measures, tea production area in central Taiwan cooperation solidarity with members, establish a perfect production area in central Taiwan tea marketing channels, has plenty of tea production area professionals.
