Abstract: This research assessed and analyzed the impacts of quality of work life, job satisfaction, organizational commitment and job stress on turnover intention in Vietnam’s nursing care sector. Specifically, it examined the relationship between those determinants with turnover intention. Quantitative research method was applied in this study. Descriptive statistics and multiple regressions were employed to analyze the collected data. The research tool was made base upon relevant literature reviews. It was sent to the Vietnamese nurses in two public hospitals in Quang Ninh province, which is located at the North of Vietnam. A total of 400 questionnaires copies were distributed to these two hospitals; and out of which, 306 copies were returned. The estimated response rate was 76.5%. The finding revealed that job stress and extrinsic job satisfaction had the most significant influences on turnover intention. The results of the study could provide some valuable insights for hospital managers, nursing staffs, and researchers. Some implications were also suggested for future management of nursing staffs in hospitals.
