At the end of the twentieth century, the prompt development of the technology is promoting the globalization of economics all over the world with a great power. With the flourishing growing of the globalization, the impact of the transnational enterprises is rapidly increasing and even overriding the government?s ruling ability and influence. Thus, the transnational enterprises are being intensely demanded to take the environmental, ethical, and social responsibilities when the world is facing the crisis of ecological unbalance caused by the development of economics. Sustainable development has been taken as the greatest challenge which the enterprises deal with for running global business. For achieving this goal, it is a must to seriously fulfill the corporate social responsibility.
This study, via the interviews with the manufacturers, is to probe the manufacturers? executive methods and strategies in environmental management, the pressure of the environmental protection in the process of operation, and the details to deal with the environmental managing issues. The information deriving from the interviews shows how the environmental managing strategies work and the way to reach the goal by utilizing the manufacturers? social resources and effect management under the immense pressure of environmental protection.
This study states that manufacturers present diverse environmental managing strategies upon encountering the pressure of environmental protection or in different social environments. Understanding how the factors influence the operators will be helpful in researching the modes of environmental managing strategy, the managing implements, the methods of evaluating strategies and be able to effectly analyze the manufacturers? environmental managing strategies and the difference.
