    Abstract: This study is to explore the Taiwanese EFL university students’ metacognitive skills influenced in their composition performance. Metacognitive skills designed and implemented in the case-based interactive EFL learning website is discussed. Twenty-six university students were recruited to take part in the experiment which included a questionnaire survey over five weeks. The results showed that there is a relationship between Monotoring skill and post-test writing composition.
