Abstract: Lin, Xing, and Yang claimed that a key distribution protocol proposed by Hwang and Ku is not reparable, and then proposed a revised one. However, their conclusion is reached via incorrect analysis. In this paper, we will analyze the reparability of secret keys in the original protocol and the revised one. Then, an enhanced protocol with higher cost-effectiveness will be described.
