To provide a safe, healthful and enjoyable environment to children is the responsibility of every child care center, therefore, architects, interior designers, early childhood care givers and teachers chosen to design a child care center should in collaboration with each other and meet some aesthetic criteria.
This article explored the building philosophy, the materials, layout principles, room arrangement, playground planning principles and playground equipment characteristic of a safe and healthful child care center which reflects aesthetic sensibilities.
