    摘要: Digital time and broadband Internet are going to be popularized; there are
    always new digital products in our life such as digital TV, 3G mobile device,
    video conference, and wireless internet. The requirements of broadband from
    people are becoming more and more important. They do not only require the
    broadband, but also mobility. The technologies and applications of Internet are
    going to develop fast; so many advanced countries are planning the new
    policies for the telecommunications. They expect the complete broadband
    Internet developments and services can make the industries of
    telecommunication grow up and also improve their competitiveness in the
    world. The Internet access in Taiwan is becoming to a new generation
    “Wireless”. 「M-Taiwan」is the one of the cases. The wireless technology will
    excite the Internet market in Taiwan. This paper focuses on studying of the
    WiMax’s technologies and researching of the WiMax’s market development in
    Taiwan. I analyzed the market demands, the strategies, and the industries’
    constructions with SWOT and Five Competitive Forces analysis theories
    models.
