    Abstract: With the gradual popularity of the Internet, every kind of industries had increasing demands for the quality of Internet. In a local area network (LAN) environment, due to the exceeding amount of computer equipments and the more open and free access to the Internet, many Internet application problems had been arised accordingly. Hence we can not ignore the Internet management in LAN. A LAN in medium and large size of corporations takes the responsibility of functional operations of the whole corporation, including administrations, sales, and products , etc. In the past, the Internet management and research focused on wide area network (WAN). In recent years, due to the promotion of bandwidth in LAN, the increase of flow, the change of Internet service type, and the change of network attack type, etc, the application efficiency in LAN was directly impacted.
