Abstract:	The purpose for this paper is to discuss the application of different Chinese herb recipes. The analysis investigates different herb prescriptions including Crocus Sativus. It consists of three steps. (1) We search the herb database to find out different herb prescriptions including Crocus Sativus. (2) We then search again the database to pick up other herb prescriptions which are similar to the above ones. (3) We compare these prescriptions according to the Channel Entry Theory. Finally, we can find some alternatives for specific Chinese herb recipes which include materials from rare animals and plants.
