    Title: The Relationship among Employee Ownership Psychological Ownership and Job Satisfaction?A Study of the T.W. Chain Industries

    Abstract: Employee ownership is the most popular issue in the current practical business fields. In order to increase the job satisfaction of the employees, industries create the best and the most suitable mode of operation for employees. Thus, the employee ownership would be the most effective way for industries to manage their business. Employees who have the real ownership will raise their psychological ownership toward a chain industry. In addition, it could also make employees to generate highly cooperative and positive attitude toward their work, and then it will lead to the outcome that is enhancing the job satisfaction of the staffs. It not only maintains industries? high competitiveness on the market place but also make employees have much more sense of belongings. Therefore, the motivation of this study is the employee ownership may generate the psychological ownership of employees.
    In fact, it was considered that most high-tech industries have employee ownership, however, the benefits of employee ownership are much more affirmative by chain industries. In the beginning, a lot of scholars proved that employee ownership made much improvement on employees? working attitude. Afterward, they found which is employee ownership made employees generate their psychological ownership, and then change their working attitude. It means the main factor to increase the staffs? job satisfaction is psychological ownership of employees. In pervious studies, most scholars focused on high-tech industries to do the deep research, and put less attention on study of chain industries. Therefore, this study is going to stress how psychological ownership of managers is affected by employee ownership in the chain industries.
    There are two main goals in the study: (1) To investigate how employee ownership influences on psychological ownership. (2) How psychological ownership changes by after having employee ownership and how will it affect job satisfaction? In order to collect the first hand information, the researcher interviewed 201 managers and spent nearly two months finishing the research of the questionnaire. In addition, both accurate data of quantitative statistics and qualitative interview to test the research hypothesis and analyze the result of respondents, the researcher gained much more complete conclusion in this field, especially in the hypothesis of interaction of employee ownership and psychological ownership.
    In this study found the benefits, which are generated by psychological ownership, is an important key issue for chain industries to operate employee ownership on business field. Staffs who have different level of employee ownership will make them to produce different degree of psychological ownership and it is the main reason that makes chain industries to achieve the goal more effective on business operation. Finally, the value and the contribution of this research may have much help for chain industries to find a way of sustainable operation.
