    摘要: The aim of this study is to find out t teenage table tennis players? leisure participation and their leisure constraints. The variables of personal background affecting leisure participation and leisure constraints are also researched in this study. The results of survey have been analyzed with description statistics, factor analysis, t test and one-way ANOVA. The analyses in this study may be referred by players and coaches who arrange and counsel teenage table tennis players on their leisure activities. Meanwhile, there have been suggestions for coaches. Below are the findings.
    ??Leisure participation:
    The leisure activities that teenage table tennis players participate in more frequently are ?interactive activities? and ? leisure sports?. The five leisure activities in which teenage table tennis players participate most are ?chatting?, ?getting some more sleep?, ?using a computer?, ?watching television?, ?jog?. Generally, their time spent on leisure activities is relatively short.
    ??Leisure constraints
    Teenage table tennis players feel that they are constrained by ?time? most severely. The five factors that constrain them the most are ?over-time training?, ?too many competitions to do leisure activities?, ?unable to arrange their training time and leisure time by themselves?, ?leisure places are too polluted and noisy? and ?feel afraid of learning bottle neck and frustration?. Overall, the leisure constraints are mild.
    ??Variables of personal background and leisure participation
    1. Gender: Boys participate in ?leisure sports? much more frequently than girls.
    2. Year group: senior high schools players t participate in ?interactive activities? much more actively then junior high school players.
    3. Residential region: popular participation in leisure activities of the players from the east region include ?leisurely activities? and ?leisure sports?.
    4. Leisure budget: teenage table tennis players whose budget is under $1,000 per month participate in ?leisure sports? more often.
    ??Variables of personal background and leisure constraints
    1. Gender: in general, there is no significant difference in leisure constraints.
    2. Year group: senior high school players feel more tightly constrained by ?support? and ?time? than junior high school students.
    3. Residential region: there is no significant difference.
    4. Leisure budget: there is no significant difference.
