Abstract: This study chose the students of CCSH as research subjects and analyzed the effect of their physical fitness after they took a twelve-week training of Second Style New-Exercise. Research subjects group includes both 63 male and female students. A pretest of physical fitness, which was combined with the records of height, weight, 1-minute-sit-up, V-set reach test, 800 and 1600 meters walk run, was practicing in the purpose of eliminating both the best and the worst 5% physical fitness performers from the group, then rest research subjects were allocated into experimental group and control group evenly in S-shape by gender and the pretest performance.
Both two groups took school courses regularly, but the experimental group carried out Second Style New-Exercise three times a week and triple sets for each time while the control group were limitative in doing exercise. A retest with the same items of pretest was practicing after the twelve-week training in both groups. The conclusion indicates the following points: take gender as independent variable, the performances of physical fitness of male are mostly better than that of female; those students in experimental group presented noticeable and positive effect on the performances of power, flexibility and cardiovascular endurance. These indicators support Second Style New-Exercise as an advantageous tool which is beneficial to high school students in enhancing their physical fitness performances.
