This study is to survey the staff?s job satisfaction in the educational institutes . This study is to survey if the staff is satisfied with their benefit packages, working environments, duties, organizational decisions and leader?s concern. The population is the staff of middle and elementary schools in Kaohsiung County surveyed during April 2008. The population consists of 9483 staffs in total, including 609 teachers covering supervising work, 1243 teachers covering coordinating work, 584 full time coordinators, 6456 teachers (including form class teachers) and 591 administrative staffs. A questionnaire is randomly distributed to the population. 552 effective questionnaires were returned and which was applied to be the base for research. It has been found that the factors of age, gender, marriage status, education history, job position, duties, working resources, satisfaction with leader?s concern, satisfaction with interpersonal relationships and satisfaction with self-improvement have had significant influence on overall job satisfaction.
