    Abstract: The biotechnology is a key technology for 21st century. The development of bio-tech would change the input-output relation for manufacture and agriculture production due to duplication of biogenes. However, bio-tech per se will not create its own value. Technology management becomes one of critical factors to create technology value in the process of production.
    This paper tries to evaluate the effective technology management and creation of industry value for phalaenopsis from the aspects of technology management, investment assessment and business management model.
    The project by using primary data interviewing from orchid farmers evaluate the value of Phalaenopsis industry and core technology in the process production. The NPV approach has been adapted to access the investment behavior.
