Abstract: | This research is to investigate the participative motives and obstacles of leisure activities for the military instructors of four vocational high schools in central part of Taiwan. In order to achieve the purpose of the above investigation, first of all, the documentation research is preceded. Furthermore, analysis is improved with the opinions based on the questionnaire for the military instructors of four vocational high schools in central part of Taiwan. There are 401 effective samples achieved. Afterward, the collected information is inductively analyzed by the statistical same quality standard percentage method. There are several important conclusions proposed as the following: 1. The current condition of participative motives of leisure activities for the military instructors is presented in different ages, seniority, service area, marital status and income. What?s more, there are other motivational impulses created by providing more chances to serve society, increasing working spirits, draining of extra energy after work, removing the weariness of physiology and psychology, fulfilling self-achievement, expanding one?s social relationship, bringing family into harmony. These display individual difference in different personality. 2. The obstacles of leisure activities for the military instructors currently are presented in gender differences, public or private schools, ages, seniority, service area, marital status and financial income. What?s more, there are other obstacles such as limitations by children issue, by routine housekeeping, by school jobs, by health problem, by lack of companion and lack of time. These display individual difference in different personality. 3. There are some suggestions as the following: encouraging military instructors to participate leisure activities enthusiastically, promoting their leisure activities to higher level, bringing appropriate leisure activities into campus to guide students to participate, establishing associations and increasing facilities. Additionally, while encouraging the entire faculty to participate the leisure activities, it is also significant to develop contests to improve the competition, strive for the budget for the activities, guide the faculty to enjoy the leisure activities and mitigate the expenditure. |
