In the meantime, the analysis is extended to a macro level or county/city level through the use of Multiple regression technique. The analytical results show: (1) 55.3 percent of the adults aged 40-64 did the health examination in the past three year; (2) In bivariate analysis, age, gender, education, employment status, marital status, birth place, family structure, monthly income, current residence, situation of house chores, smoking, drinking, chewing betel nut, sports, eating vegetables and fruits are all related to the utilization of health examination; (3) Findings from Logistic Regression analysis show that those who are older, female, higher education, currently working, Mainlanders, Aborigines, higher income, living in big or small cities, no smoking, no drinking, no chewing betel nut, having sports, or often eating fruits tend to use the health examination; (4)Macro level of analysis indicated that the adults who live in a city or county with lower proportions of people chewing betel nut or higher proportions of females are more likely to do the health examination.
