    Abstract: The study looks into the interrelationship among professional competencies and job performance, which focuses on volunteer EMT and fire fighters in Nantou County.Questionnaire was used to collect related information in the study. Totally, 360 questionnaires were sent out, but there were only 304 questionnaires sending back. Questionnaires that were sent back were valid. Mean, standard deviation, one-way ANOVA, t-test, and Pearson correlation were used to analyze the data.
