    摘要: Abstract

    This study is aimed at understanding the relationship between the personal qualities and the kinds of recreations elementary schoolteachers participate in. Take the elementary school teachers of Nantou County for example. The questionnaires are made up by myself and filled out optionally. Self-developed questionnaire was used in the survey. 492 out of 604 questionnaires were distributed and collected with a return rate of 81.5%. Descriptive statistics, item analysis, factor analysis, t-test,one-way ANOVA, Scheff? post comparison , Pearson product-momentcorrelation, were used to analyze the data.

    The following are some major conclusions:
    1.Most elementary school teachers belong to the type of friendliness.
    They are the least sensitive. They like to join the family recreational
    activities most.
    2.The personal qualities vary greatly from different genders, ages,
    school sizes, working years, education, marital status, etc.
    3.The choices of getting involved in different type of recreational activities also remarkably change with different gender, ages, working years, education, marital status, etc.
    4.The personal qualities and the involvement of recreational activities are noticeably related.
