    Title: The Relations among Leisure Constraint Leisure Activity Types and Participation Frequency and Work Satisfaction?An Example of Female Staffs at Hotels in Taichung

    Abstract: Due to leisure activity is indispensable to work, but leisure activity is under the influence of work characteristics for female staffs at hotels who are the leisure activities providers . The purposes of this research were to examine the relations among leisure constraint, leisure activity type and participation frequency and work satisfaction. Besides, the study was explored whether these constructions were influenced by work characteristics.
    This study on female staffs who work at hotels in Taichung were surveyed by questionnaires. And the questionnaires included leisure constraint, leisure activity types and participation frequency and work satisfaction.Then,leisure constraints included intrapersonal constraints ,interpersonal constraints and structural constraints.The leisure activity types and participation frequency included academic and artistry leisure type,social leisure type and family and others leisure type.The work satisfaction included instrinsic work satisfaction and extrinsic work satisfaction.This scale was used likert scale.And 284 valid samples were used. The rate of respondent was 96%. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and SEM analysis.
    The conclusions were following:
    1.The interviewees are most between 21~30 years old and most of them are unmarried. The work years in hotels were 1~3 years.
    2.About leisure constraints,. the interpersonal constraint is the most important factor. And interviewees more often participate watch TV and meeting activity types. The extrinsic work satisfaction is higher than intrinsic work satisfaction.
    3. There is no significance in leisure constraint for different interviewees. .Significant differenence exists in age and marital status toward leisure activity participation. And also exist in the age of youngest child and work year toward work satisfaction.
