    Abstract: The purpose of this study is to discuss the security of EPC Class 1 Gen-2 RFID Tag. Recently, a lot of RFID applications to introduce our life. RFID brings traceability and privacy threats, due to each tag has a unique code. In order to solve traceability and privacy, Duc et al's had proposed security protocol against traceability and cloning. In 2006, Chien et al's had pointed out the weaknesses of the Duc et al's security protocol and proposed a new protocol to avoid those weaknesses. In this paper, we will propose an efficient protocol to avoid traceability and privacy threats, and conform to the EPC Class 1 Gen-2 standards.
