    Abstract: In the world of ubiquitous wireless communications, the near field communication technologies, especially RFID, has been a promising technology for long-term personnel and asset monitoring and tracking. For example, RFID system for medical treatment and healthcare applications is growing rapidly worldwide. A tag, containing a unique series number, attached to an object is identified and stored in database of the systematic end for the purpose of tracking, checking, and managing. On the other hand, various kinds of medical items and facilities can be tracking and monitoring, thus higher service efficiency and lower costs are achieved accordingly. Real medical item tracking could be realized by tagging on medical items together with patients? medical history in the future.
