Coordination refers to agents that coordinate their own behavior in an environment of finite resources to conform to individual benefits or group goals. Dependent agents use effective information connections for coordinating and adjusting resource distribution, thereby reaching agreements between dependent agents. However, during the process of coordination, an effective method of assessment is necessary for information linkage. This research proposes an effective method for assessing the design of the coordination of autonomous agents, which can be applied to urban outdoor space design based on the developed “cozy place” model base. The purpose of this research is to assess the coordination effectiveness of coordination agents during the interaction process of the design model via numerical analysis. This project adopts autonomous coordination agents to simulate the design goal, constructs a coordination model, and defines the coordination collections of agent groups, and regards the conflicts in the coordination process as the coordination problems of agents in each group. The coordination problems of this research were converted into design computing mechanisms, and rules of thumb were used to optimize the coordination effect in the next round. By introducing the coordination process through autonomous coordination agents, the communication procedures of autonomous coordination agents can trigger chain reactions, which produce the reconstruction and linkage of objects, reducing the time for accomplishing the design goals by stimulating the autonomous coordination between the autonomous agents. Finally, this research used the design model of the coordination mechanism of cozy places as an example to verify the assessment method proposed by this research. Through the study process, this research further unearthed the conflicts produced by the coordination of group agents. Therefore, this study used simulated numerical analysis to describe the potential limits and conditions in the application of the practical mechanism. Moreover, the interaction of coordination could be dynamically recorded in the system database developed by this study, including the life cycle of coordination agents, the total value of the linkages, the depth of connection, and connection indices. Therefore, this research can investigate the problem-solving procedures of intellectual design using these records.
