Scientific principles and knowledge form one of the pillars to the improvement in living quality and social progress. With the diversification of the media, popular science has seen systematic, widespread dissemination. The periodic table was created by scientists in 1869, and have since then been used extensively in the fields of chemistry, physics, biology, engineering, and chemical engineering, attributed to its highly systematic classification. Its importance in modern science cannot be underestimated. This project makes use of interactive multimedia projection to construct an interactive periodic table for the purpose of public information dissemination. Through actual hands-on operations, the general public can gain a better understanding of the properties of chemical elements and their applications, making scientific knowledge more accessible and fascinating.
