Abstract: In this study, stainless steel wire were used as core yarn and polyester filament containing bamboo charcoal
were wrapped yarn. Bamboo charcoal polyester/stainless steel wrapped yarn was manufactured by rotor twister. And
bamboo charcoal/stainless steel knitted fabrics were weaved by circular knitting machine. In manufacturing process that
wrapped counts of bamboo charcoal were 2- 6 turns/cm, the laminated counts of bamboo charcoal/stainless steel knitted
fabrics were 1-4 laminations and laminated angle were changed as follow 0°/0°/0°/0°, 0°/45°/90°/-45° and
0°/90°/0°/90°. And evaluate of surface resistance and electromagnetic shielding effectiveness. In surface resistance test,
the crabwise direction of knitted fabric would be obtained the lowest value of surface resistance was 67.1 Ω. As to the
electromagnetic shielding effectiveness test, the optimum electromagnetic shielding effectiveness value was 31.7 dB.
