Title: An improved approach to stability analysis of fixed-point digital control systems under finite word length effects
    Authors: 柯賢儒;Ko, Hsien-Ju
    Contributors: 光電與通訊學系
    Keywords: "finite word-length (FWL);stability criterion;closed-loop;normal-form"

Abstract: "This paper presents an improved approach to analyze the stability of the digital closed-loop control systems under
finite word-length (FWL) effects. This approach can effectively
evaluate the least bits that the digital controllers should be
implemented to preserve the stability of the closed-loop systems.
The conservativeness in the stability analysis in terms of word
length can be released by using normal-form transformation.
Finally, the numerical simulations will be provided to verify the
    proposed approach."
