The purpose of this study is to explore the situation of self-concept and delinquency of the new immigrant youth, and to compare it with general Taiwanese youth, and further, to explore the difference between both groups. Then, the correlations between self-concept and delinquency is also analyzed in this study.582 samples were chosen from junior-high schools in Tainan city by stratified purpose sampling method. Youth Life Adaptation Questionnaire was used to collect data, and the data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, and Person’s correlation with SPSS for Windows.The results show that: (a) there is no gender-difference on youth self-concept; (b) there is no significant difference between self-concept and delinquency on different social-economic status youth; (c) there is significant gender-difference on delinquency; male youth have more delinquency than female; (d) there is no significant difference on self-concept between the new immigrant youth and general Taiwanese youth; (e) there is significant correlation between self-concept and delinquency on the new immigrant youth; (f) there is no significant correlation between self-concept and delinquency on the general Taiwanese youth. According to the results, some suggestions are made to be references on youth counseling and further research. Keywords: new immigrant youth, self-concept, delinquency
