    Title: The Viewpoint and Implementation Study of Taichung Public Kindergarten Teachers on Integrating Financial Education into the Curricula of Preschool Education

    Abstract: ABSTRACTIn order to understand the viewpoints of incorporating financial management education into curriculum, as well as on both content and coverage of teaching financial management education from personal financial management cognition of Kindergarten teachers in the paper, to make investigations of the current status, difference as well as correlations between the two, and to work as reference for promoting kindergarten financial management education in the future.The tool adopted by the paper is with self-compiled scales of “viewpoints of incorporating financial management education into curriculum of preschool education” and “teaching contents and coverage of financial management education from kindergarten teachers. It is aimed at Kindergarten teachers in Taichung City, by way of questionnaire survey, to obtain efficient sampling of 363 copies, and according to the data obtained from the questionnaire survey, to respectively work on analysis with adoption of statistic methods, including Frequency Distribution, Descriptive Statistic, Independent Sample T Test, Single Factor Covariance Analysis, and Pearson’s Correlation Analysis.On the basis of the research findings, to sum up the research results of the paper as followings:1. On the education level of kindergarten teachers, the people who are with a major in relation to preschool education (care) in university degree are the largest group, and the kindergarten teachers are with good inclination on the cognition of personal financial management.2. The teachers who have implemented, taught and studied the related concepts and curriculum of financial management education in comparison to teachers who have not done the same, will teach more about affections as well as skills on financial management, plus to have better personal financial management cognition (all are with significant difference).3. Overall speaking, in all of the teaching contents and coverage of financial management education, kindergarten teachers will put emphasis on both “financial management affections” and “financial management skills”, while putting “financial management cognition” as aid.4. The teachers “who are married” will teach more about “financial management cognition”.5. Overall speaking, the kindergarten teachers hold positive assessment on the curriculum of teaching contents and coverage for financial management education.6. Overall speaking, the kindergarten teachers will be the point of view of financial management education into the curriculum of preschool education, More inclined to agree.
