    Abstract: This study uses secondary data to explore the actual utilization of communitycare resources by Nantou County elders, and also uses the GIS software to explorethe distribution of community care resources. Results of this study are as follows: 1.The numbers of persons whom got services are much less than those persons didn’tget services, in the other words, indicating that most subjects have not received theservices they wanted. 2. The key factor to why elders didn’t get the services islacking of information. 3. The family care ability affected their decision to usewhich kind service. 4. Health status and social participation affect service using. 5.The younger agings are more like to get services than the elder agings. 6. Genderwill effect their selection of the services. 7. The resources of Community careservices in Nantou County are concentrated in the urban areas, and prettyinsufficient in rural areas.
