    Abstract: A Study On Sport Event With Physical Barriers to Service Quality And Satisfaction Student:Ying-Che Lin Advisor:Dr. Chao-Chien Chen Dr. Shih-Yen LinAbstractThis study explored the service quality and satisfaction of the disabled people’s participation in sports games. The findings will supply the service of Taichung Disabled Persons’ Sports Federation. The study selects participants in Taichung Table Tennis Open for the Disabled in 2011 as surveying subjects, based on convenient sampling, taken as the subjects that received questionnaire survey during November 12th to 13th in 2011. The statistic method adopts t-test, IPA analysis and structural equation modeling. The main results revealed that:1. As to emphasis and satisfaction on service quality management of sports games, there were significant differences. The participants recognize the most important service demand is “professional skill of umpires”; the least important service demand is “the time of the opening speech.”2. Using IPA technique, the result revealed service demands that “the transportation conveniences from the downtown to the playing field”, “tournament table”, “Conference venue routes guidelines marked”, “ the location of barrier-free restroom” and “the hardware quality of the athletes' village” need to improve.3. Satisfaction on service quality of sports games has significant influence on the overall satisfaction of sports games. Key words: sports games, service quality management, emphasis, satisfaction
