    Title: The Study on Information Technology Integrated in Teaching by Elementary School Teachers in Nantou County

    Abstract: The purpose of this study is to probe the current situations and willingness of primary school teachers integrating information technology into classroom in Nantou County and to explore the relation between the current situations and the factors of influence.
    The methods used in this research are literature review and questionnaire. A total of 429 questionnaires were sent out and 408 were completed. The effective return rate is 95.1%. Four tests employed are Mean, one-way ANOVA, T-test, and Pearson product-moment correlation.
    Our findings of this research are summarized as following:
    1. The present situation of information technology integrated in teaching in Nantou County leaned toward positive.
    2. Teachers with different years of teaching experience, educational degree, teaching position and hours of using computers per week and hours of surfing web per week had significant differences in using situations of integrating information technology into classroom.
    3. Teachers with different gender, years of teaching experience, educational degree, school size, and hours of using computers per week, as well as hours of surfing web per week had significant differences in the willingness of integrating information technology into classroom.
    4. The factors of influence were relevant to the present situation of information technology integrated in teaching.
