    Abstract: Injuries often occur during doing exercises, and they are related to the arrangement of sports training, sports and technology, the standard of sports training, sports and environmental conditions, etc. The types of injury can be categorized into several main types according to the kinds of injuries, accidents, and human behavior. The purpose of the research is to discuss the causes why tug of war players got hurt in different situations. Status and explore the tug of war athletes injuries and have an impact on the situation of different discussion. In this study, tug of war players from central of Taiwan who participate in national competitions are questionnaire surveyed. The purpose of the questionnaire survey is to understand the players’ current sports injuries combined with scenario analysis and other methods. The questionnaire is divided into "tug of war scenario analysis," "tug of war sports injuries," "tug of war athletes sports injuries", and "handle the situation after the injury."
    The results of the study showed that the main parts that players are injured are strain of waist, back or ankle, a sprained wrist, finger and toe joints, and elbow contusion; the major injury timing is during regular practices. However, many players ignore mild tenderness resulting in sports injuries. Besides, the subsequent convalescence is not so good, players are affected in practices because they have a recurrence of an old injury. Therefore, it is to recommend that coaches may pay more attention, and record players’ history of sports injuries. It is advantageous that they have references in planning their training in the future.
