This empirical research focuses on the leisure benefits of free diving. We conducted questionnaires to investigate the participants' perceived benefits. Based on their responses, we gained further insights about the factors. We handed out the questionnaire via various online free diving communities, targeting individuals who have engaged in free diving activities. A total of 102 effective questionnaires were collected. With the collected data, we employed several analysis including reliability analyses, independent samples t-test, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA)mean comparison methods using the IBM SPSS Statistics 23 software. The results showed that our research hypotheses stand. The outcome of our study suggested that the participants had significant perception of the leisure benefits, indicating a positive impact of free diving on leisure experiences. However, we observed differences in some variables in our one-way ANOVA analysis. This study suggests that the authorities could not only perform more promotion and guidance but also organize free diving activities. These improvement could thereby bring more attention to health and fitness, self-affirmation and sense of achievement, and fostering harmonious.
