Past research has confirmed that workplace bullying experienced by nurses is a globally significant and urgent public health issue that needs to be addressed. However, most studies have only examined the probability of workplace bullying occurring in nursing work environments. There is very limited research on the effectiveness of resilience and empowerment as means of coping with workplace stress. This study differs from previous investigations into the prevalence of bullying in nursing workplaces as it will incorporate resilience, empowerment, and self-efficacy to explore the moderating effect of the relationship between nurses' work performance and bullying experiences in different levels of resilience, empowerment, and self-efficacy. It is expected that this study will provide a better understanding of the impact of workplace bullying on nurses' work performance.
