Climate change has become the biggest challenge facing business firms today. Governments of many countries and industries have formulated regulations, policies, and mechanisms to regulate carbon emission reduction by enterprises. This paper aims to explore the moderated effects of business climate change perception (carbon reduction motivation) and carbon reduction self-efficacy on carbon reduction emissions under these institutional pressures. In addition, this paper also explores the impact of corporate carbon reduction on both company's environmental performance and economic performance. Through questionnaire survey and statistical analysis of the structural equation model, the research results help to understand the important factors of how enterprises achieve carbon emission reduction.
