The difficulties, assistance, and resilience demonstrated by mainland new resident women in marriage, as they face multiple difficulties and become the main economic pillar, deserve our attention. This study uses qualitative research to conduct in-depth interviews on the experiences of three mainland new resident women in marriage, exploring the difficulties and assistance of new residents in becoming the main economic pillar of the family, the impact of becoming the main economic pillar of the family, and the resilience presented during the process. The research results are as follows:1. Journey - Survival pressure, overcoming challengesAbout difficulties-- In terms of survival pressure, overcoming difficulties - economic difficulties, discrimination and stereotypes between spouses and their families, internal oppression, lack of external support systems and resources, and entrepreneurial difficulties; In terms of assistance, children are the driving force behind everything, social welfare institutions are the oasis of life, friends and family are the warmth in times of adversity, and past experiences and expertise are the cornerstone of flipping.2. Impact - economic pillars, each with its own destinyPersonal aspect - it can enhance self-worth, self-confidence, and expand interpersonal network resources, but due to heavy workload, it has a negative impact on the body and mind. In terms of family, it may not necessarily change their family status and decision-making power, but role conflicts and double burdens are heavier than those of ordinary women. Social aspects - stabilizing the economy and functions of vulnerable families, providing children with a healthy growth environment, promoting social connections, and the ability to utilize social resources.3. Resilience - Dark Valley, Resilience Growth(1) Three mechanisms of protective factorsThe "substitute" mechanism is "stress resistance", "spiritual nourishment", and "external resource enhancement". The "challenge" mechanism is "good self-awareness", "mothering ability", and "enhancement of external resources". The "immunity" mechanism is "the accumulation of past experiences".(2) Three elements of resilience courseI The three elements of resilience process are positively interpreted by the three interviewees as the energy and actions that generate resilience: the resilience energy of the "substitute" mechanism generates actions that are "firm and pragmatic" The "challenge" mechanism generates a sense of "proactive commitment, overcoming challenges" The "immune" mechanism produces the act of "adapting to timing and accumulating knowledge".4. Suggestions(1) Establishing a care mechanism for newly arrived residents in Taiwan.(2) Strengthen social service tracking work.
