The integration of science and technology into education is becoming a trend in recent years. This project adopts quasi-experimental design method to compare the learning effectivenesses of the AI robot "Kebbi Air" with the general online English teaching channel. There are purposes of the study: first, to observe, understand and analyze the learning behaviors of the first, fourth and sixth grade students in elementary school in order to see how Kebbi influence their English learning behaviors; second, to see whether the use of Kebbi can increase English learning achievements. The study will carry out oneyear observation on three elementary students in grades 1, 4 and 6. The experiment uses quasi-experimental research method, and the independent variable is teaching method, including interactive game courses of Kebbi and online courses. In terms of research tools, the results will be analyzed by Children's English Learning Motivation and Learning Outcome Scale for both pretest and posttest, and there will be non-structural interviews with the experimental team. The expected conclusions of this study are: first, Kebbi students can arouse strong learning motivation, and second, compared with the general watching online course learning, the AI robot Kebbi can effectively improve the learning effectiveness of elementary students. Finally, this study intends to make relevant research recommendations based on the results of the study, so as to be used as a researcher of the relevant research in the future. |
